Modern mx racers
discover a secret in Alabama - vintage tracks are
challenging and fun! What used to be a vintage only race now
attracts modern racers in droves.
Running Brand GP MX had over 260 entries on Nov. 15th.
Located in northern AL near the GA border, this farm, turned MX
track is over 2 miles long and 40 feet wide. It features lots of
elevation changes, long, fast straights, grassy fields, rocky
downhills, off-cambers all over the place and even a water
crossing! This is what motocross tracks were like in the
earliest days in Europe - a cross between mx and scambles.
It was a blast, racing a REAL old-school motocross track,
believe me! For pictures go
here. They only race
twice in the spring and twice in the fall and will close out
2009 with a race on Dec. 6.

Did you know that
motorcycles are the preferred mode of transportation for many
people in China? There are more motorcycles and bicycles on
the street than cars in Yangchou. I'll give you a peek at two
other cities as well, including Shanghai and a rare look at a
traditional Chinese wedding. Pictures from my recent trip to
China are now posted

Bike Ike.

This fictional

When he meets up with an outcast owner of a junk yard he builds

champion. He learns lessons along the way about friendship,
sacrifice, self-discipline, perseverance, hard work,
forgiveness, dealing with bullies and growing up. With the help
of his new friends he solves a 30 year old mystery crime and
brings justice to the town, turning into a local hero.
